To Cleanse or Not To Cleanse?
In the previous blogs, we have seen that only 14% of people in New Zealand were using a facial cleanser along the right lines for their skin type and a staggering 62% of people were using the wrong facial cleanser.
7% were either cleansing in the morning or at night respectively. And the old fashioned exfoliator”s use as a facial cleanser is no longer recommended.
But what are you supposed to do? Never cleanse for fear of getting it wrong?
On the other hand, over cleansing of the skin, even if using the correct cleanser can compromise your skin. If your skin is delicate, sensitive, very dry or you suffer from conditions such as eczema, it may be better for you to use a gentle cream or oil based cleanser in the evening and just rinse with warm water in the morning.
It”s extremely important to cleanse your face in the evening to remove the grime of the day, including make-up and sunscreen.
If you”re unsure of which cleanser to use or how and when to use your cleanser, don”t hesitate, get in touchnow and we”ll be happy to advise.
