Which Sun Screen to Use? Pt. 1
I can’t let you go off for the summer without giving you just a little lecture on being sun smart. Obviously covering up from the sun during the hottest part of the day (11am to 3pm) is the best way to be sun smart and avoid getting burnt this summer, but this isn’t always appropriate. To use a sunscreen is the best way of being sun safe and feeling free to enjoy the summer.
But which sun screen to use??????????
My advice is to use a sunscreen that has an SPF (Sun Protection Factor,) of between 15 and 30. It would also be great to have one that says broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protector, but not all of the good ones print this on the label.
When using a sun screen, you need to top up every 2 hours and each time you come out of the water, even if it says on the bottle water resistant.
Environ RAD spf 15 is the perfect solution for a broad-spectrum UVA & amp; UVB protector. But when you feel you’ve had too much sunshine, be sure to take yourselves indoors and always drink plenty of water to avoid sunstroke.

Enjoy your summer, Helen.
